MEET GAVIN SHANKΒ
I grew up in Northwest Ohio and that sense of community and fond memories led me back. It was while I was away, making my way in the world I realized how much of my youth had shaped me. Time with family, 4-H county fairs, best of all time spent in the many parks, rivers, and Lake Erie. So it felt natural to return and set down both my personal and professional roots.
In my time away my job took to me to every corner of the country. Working for a large insurance company handling catastrophic claims I learned the value of βhomeβ. The people who live there, the work that has been put into making a house a home. The joyful memories and sacrifices. I spent many years helping people pick up and find home again after disasters struck. Navigating through policies and keeping the client informed and comfortable along the way.
Not having the chance to stay too long in one place I started to buy and rehab properties to sell. What started as a way to occupy my time and grow my personal portfolio was the beginning of my professional evolution from home fixer to home finder. I first got my realtor license to help with my personal deals. In 2015 I decided to commit full-time to real estate and joined Key Realtor. Dedicating myself to helping others feel confident in their decision to buy or sell a home. Soon after I felt the rewards as I settled into Perrysburg and began my realtor family.
Forming the Shank Group at Key Realty was the next evolution. Shank Group was born with the goal to establish a team where the foundation of being a clients agent first comes. It doesnβt matter the budget , buying or selling, first time or seasoned home owner or investor. It has and always will be about using every resource to assure my clients they got the best from me or one of my team. Investing not only in state of the art marketing but in the old school qualities of true customer oriented service. I understand the complex and emotional process buying and selling can be and why communication is so important. Not just keeping a client informed but truly listening and hearing their needs, concerns or questions.
